I'm a full-stack engineer who likes shipping things — mobile apps, web platforms, backend services. Currently helping build a streaming product at Idilio TV and working on security tooling at Mercado Libre. On the side, I'm studying physics and trying to make sense of the universe.

Two trajectories,one observer.

Hi, I'm Kevin. I've spent the last 4+ years building mobile, web and backend systems — mostly with TypeScript, React/React Native and Node, plus a healthy dose of Postgres. I enjoy figuring out how to keep systems simple as they grow, and I'm a big believer that clarity in code matters more than cleverness.

On the side I'm studying for a Bachelor's in Physics. The same curiosity that pulls me toward Schrödinger's equation is what got me into distributed systems in the first place — both are about modeling things precisely enough to actually predict what they'll do next.

If I could hop on a ship to another galaxy tomorrow, I probably would. Until then, I'm happy building, reading Feynman, and learning new things one bug at a time.

Full Stack Software Engineer · Mobile
  • Helping build a cross-platform streaming app (iOS & Android) in React Native + Expo SDK 54 — working across components, Redux slices and custom hooks for auth, Mux video playback, recommendations and a rewards system.
  • Worked on an A/B testing setup using FNV-1a bucketing and JSONB targeting (country, region, language, tier) so we can run experiments across posters, shows, episodes and reels.
  • Built a native Android companion app in Kotlin + Jetpack Compose with Hilt, Orbit MVI and Media3 ExoPlayer (HLS), including a benchmark suite and R8 minification.
  • Contributed to the NestJS 11 admin API across several modules — Swagger docs, Supabase JWT auth, Helmet, throttling, with Jest tests.
  • Wrote Supabase Edge Functions in Deno 2 + Hono with HMAC-SHA256 verification for RevenueCat and Mux webhooks.
  • Worked on PostgreSQL migrations and PL/pgSQL RPCs around RLS, geofencing, soft-delete and unified content-variant evaluation.
  • Helped wire AWS Bedrock + Translate into an AI subtitle translation pipeline so the team doesn't have to translate by hand.
  • Contributed to the React 19 + Vite admin dashboard on Refine.dev — components, resumable Mux Upchunk uploads and Zustand state.

  • Building internal services in Python and JavaScript that help triage and remediate security findings, so high-severity issues get attention faster.
  • Collaborating with product, platform and infra teams to push secure-by-default patterns: auth, secret management, dependency hardening.
  • Before moving to security, contributed to full-stack product features (React / Node / Python) — which gave me a feel for both delivery and security tradeoffs.
